I have long been interested in repurposing worn out tyres using low tech solutions.

It can be a difficult material to work with in some ways and poses interesting challenges.

There is much scope for experimenting with them and is a byproduct of our transport systems that is energy intensive and difficult to deal with.

With this pair of tyres I have removed the side walls, clamped each end with bolts and slung them in a riven Ash frame.
