This bench is made usually from a beech-board milled here on site in Wicklow. The saw marks from the milling operation are lightly buffed, oiled and softened. The final finish shows the tool marks of the production. The ash legs are set through the bench top. Again, these show the draw knife and axe marks that are used to make them.
