This is one of a haul of large pieces of Bog Oak I got from a bog in Co Westmeath some time ago.
I have tried to leave it close to it’s raw state as was practical.

It had been lying therte under the blanket of bog for 4-5000 years before a local farmer unearthed it digging turf.

The top is a scalloped gouged finish and the legs are Cedar of Lebanon.

If while out walking on the bog you come across an animal that looks like this you either stand extremely still or run away very fast in a zig-zag direction. I cant remember which.
